Celebrating Fall

Happy Wednesday everyone!

The leaves are changing and the weather is turning. It’s officially fall at IHD. This season always brings lots of fun activities to pack in before the snow falls. Here’s our top ways to celebrate the season as a dancer.

Fall Treats

From apple picking to pumpkin pie, Halloween chocolate to butternut squash this season brings lots of tasty treats. Indulge in some tasty favorite fall treats and nutritious fall favorites like pumpkin seeds or apples to fuel your night at dance.

Dance Photoshoot

The changing fall leaves make a beautiful backdrop for any photoshoot. Pair your cozy sweater weather outfit with a pair of pointe shoes. Celebrate spooky season with a creepy stylized shoot. Get creative and show off your talent with a fall photoshoot.

Dress Up

Dancers love a good costume. Whip out that old tutu and repurpose it as a princess for your upcoming Halloween party. Dress up for school using your old musical theater costume and reused that old leotard to make an 80s inspired costume for school. Don’t forget to dress up for dance class the week of Halloween.

Dance

Of course dancers never need an excuse to dance! Celebrate the season with spooky themed dance class the week before Halloween. Join us for our Annual Halloween Parent’s night out or just take the falling leaves as a sign to get back to dance!

Those are just some of the ways we celebrate fall at IHD! Why didn’t the ghost go to the Halloween party? She had NO BODY to dance with! We hope to dance with you soon!
