October at IHD

Happy Wednesday everyone!

Another month has passed and we are so proud of the work going on at the studio. We hope that if you are dancing with us that you are enjoying every minute of your time at IHD and if your following along online with us this year that you are enjoying the ride so far. Here’s what we got up to this October at IHD!

New Skills

We’re into the swing of things in our classes and are starting to see big developments from all of our students. From the timid 2 year olds who are now running into class each week to the competitive dancers who are already smashing this year’s goals, we are so proud.

New Choreography

All our competitive routines are off to an amazing start. We love to see our dancers take on our concepts with such enthusiasm and skills. Get ready recreational dancers! We can’t wait to start your holiday show routines next month.

Bigger Community

We invited even more students into our community! We thank everyone who spread the word or shared a class with a friend. Our community is growing bigger and stronger every day. We hope that your dancers are making new friends in their class and that connections are being made with families in our community.

Argos Half Time

Our competitive team was given the opportunity to perform at a Toronto Agros half time show! If you haven’t already seen their amazing performance, head over to our instagram page to check out the video. These dancers performed with energy and enthusiasm and represented the IHD family so well! Thank you Miss Kelly for her choreography and Paula, Leah Anna & all the family and friends who supported our team for this performance. What a great memory for our team!

Well that’s another month at IHD. We’ll spend the last week of October celebrating the spooky season with a fun week of dress up at the studio and then on to preparing for the holiday season, including parades and our first recreational performance of the year. We can’t wait!
